Chama NM. One of two surviving Mudhens waits for the helper engine to back down and couple up. There will be three additional cars added to this mornings train. Two coaches for a bus load of Brits making a tour of western steam and a last minute caboose charter.

This train will look wonderful attacking the four percent grade to Cumbres Summit nd it will sound even better.

The other operational Mudhen is at Crossroads Village in Flint MI and operated by the Geneseo Parks Commission.
